I'm Zach
— the person behind Litt Visual.
I grew up in Hawaii. Moved to San Diego 5 years ago; took a few detours getting to photography — college, real estate, people and things that didn't work out the way they were supposed to. I’ve worked at a supermarket, a big box store, a pizzeria, on a decommissioned aircraft carrier turned museum, spent a year in real estate, and somewhere along the way, I learned that people are complicated and visuals are not, ending up here with a camera — courtesy of one insurance lawsuit — and a sharper understanding of what actually matters.
That understanding is simple: visuals are either doing the work or they're costing you. A space that deserves more gets exactly what its photos say it deserves.
Litt Visual is what came out of that. I shoot restaurants, real estate, and events — anything where the visual is the first impression and the first impression is everything.
I'm not a studio with a roster of shooters and a scheduler. I'm one person, which means when you book a shoot, you get my full attention from the first conversation to the final delivery. No handoffs, no junior staff, no one phoning it in.
I hold my work to a standard I'm not willing to compromise on. If I wouldn't be proud to put it in my portfolio, it doesn't go to you. That's not a tagline — it's just how I operate.
